Lamar Hunt Jr. is an American businessman, philanthropist, and sports team owner known for purchasing the Kansas City Mavericks hockey team and founding the Loretto Foundation. A man of prayer and deep faith, Mr. Hunt will be sharing his vision for building Michael's Wonder World and Halo Ridge Assistance Center in Olathe. This entertainment complex is being designed to provide entertainment for children with severe, special needs and their families. This project was inspired by his grandson, Michael. His son-in-law James Arkell, Vice President of Loretto Properties, founded this orgnaization on the misson of "Investing in Families by Investing in Communities".

Our Impact
For more than thirty years, the Olathe Community Prayer Breakfast has fostered a rich history of providing an annual opportunity for the Olathe Community to come together for a morning of reflection and spiritual inspriaton.

Our tradition continued in 2025 with over 400 people and 55 organizations joining together for a morning of praise, prayer, and inspiration. In addition, we are on track to meet or beat our 2025 Mayor's Children's Fund Goal of $15,000 in proceeds!
